Friday Scholastic at WalMart
- At the McDonalds inside WalMart, FM1960 at Cutten Road. Registration 6:30 to 6:45. Games 7:00 PM to about 9:00. We play Game-30. $5 entry fee (2 players in the same family $8, three players $10), small trophy for first place in each section of 8 players. USCF Membership Required. Scholastic (12th Grade and under) Somewhat informal. We follow USCF rules with some consideration for inexperienced players, but it can get a little noisy. We play as many rounds as we can get in by 9:00 PM, usually three, sometimes more. Sections with stronger players, using their full Game-30 time control, will finish about 10:00.

- Friday Night Open at the Whataburger, 7210 FM 1960, across the street from Toys-R-Us.
3SS Game-30 Entry fee $5. Registration 6:30-6:45, Round 1 at 7:00 p.m, USCF Rated,
